This page is intended to inform his friends, and allow anyone to share anything about Alan. Please feel free to upload photos if you've got them (Al not exactly a fan of the camera!).Unknownnoreply@blogger.comBlogger2125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5031412260089851445.post-64939563545422808042011-06-15T06:15:00.000-07:002011-06-15T06:15:22.454-07:00Victoria Funeral and Memphis MemorialNothing finalized by the family yet, but it looks like a Victoria funeral will take place on June 25, and a Memphis send-off on June 18th, but this is not yet finalized. I'm now in Toronto with my kids. Al's sister and parents are heading to Memphis likely Thursday.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5031412260089851445.post-55055931689413037622011-06-14T05:09:00.000-07:002011-06-17T18:50:32.977-07:00Saddest News

Alan, age 39, was a fiercely loyal (and hilarious) Senior Manager for the Grizzlies NBA team, which he served since 1998, first in Vancouver, then Memphis. His office was always the central hub for team employees. During Memphis Grizzlies’ games, Alan ran all the music and sound effects at FedExForum. Living in Memphis for the past decade, Alan also owned property in his hometown of Victoria, and in Qualicum Beach.
Wherever he went, Alan made people smile and laugh. His legendary generosity inspired countless acts of kindness, during his final days, from friends around the world. And will ever do so, in his memory.
